Jim Slattery, PGA
Director of Golf, Belleair Country Club
Jim Slattery graduated from Clearwater High School in 1980; and from Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 1984. He married his wife Donna in 1986. They have three sons and reside in Clearwater.
Jim joined Belleair Country Club as a PGA Apprentice in 1985, and earned his Class “A” PGA Membership in 1991. He served as Assistant Golf Professional and Head Teaching Professional until he was promoted in 2005 to Director of Golf. Jim has been hiring, training and managing staff at Belleair since 1996, and currently manages a staff of 20. Jim’s duties at Belleair are diverse and include management of over 40 tournaments annually, year-round direction of the Junior Golf Program, the Golf Instruction Program and oversees the Caddy Program.
