Sports Center

The active Belleair Country Club members never miss a day of exercise. The Sports Center is dedicated to wellness, health and fitness with a 10,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, fully equipped with machines for strength training, cardio and free weights.

Group Exercise Classes at the Sports Center include BoxFit, BURN, Spinning, Pilates, Fit and Firm, Yoga, Strength Training and many more. Workout at your own leisure or join a class, we can guarantee at the end you will feel energized.

A sparkling Junior-Olympic size swimming pool is located just outside the Sports Center. The pool is temperature controlled in both summer and winter for lap swimming and competitive swimming. For the small children there is a fenced wading pool featuring a Mushroom Cap Waterfall and a gently sloped ramp for ease of access. Separated from the main pool, it offers a shaded area for parents to relax in comfort while the wee ones splash.

Competitive junior team swimming is offered, along with Master’s Swimming Program, and swim lessons for all ages.

Convenient to our swimmers and workout enthusiasts is a snack bar where one can choose from a bevy of delicious salads, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and protein shakes, all of which can be enjoyed poolside.

Fun activities on the spacious sun decks are planned year round including Luaus, Barbecues, Family Cookouts, Friday Movie Nights and more.

Belleair Country Club has seven har-tru clay Tennis Courts, all are lit for play well into the evening hours until 10:00 pm. These medium-speed, all-purpose tennis courts are much easier on the body than the more common “hard court” surfaces, enabling enjoyable, extended play. Multiple Tennis Pros offer lessons and camps for all ages as well as having a fully-equipped Tennis Shop. Quick pick-up games and tournaments are available throughout the year. Our Tennis Courts are an ideal place to connect with the tennis ball and to connect with other Club members.

Belleair Country Club also offers two Pickleball Courts, equipped with lighting for evening play. Pickleball is a fast-growing sport, combining many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong; a sport suitable for all ages and levels. Members can either participate in competitive groups, or they can enjoy the social aspect while being active. Or make it a family activity – juniors are welcome to join in this fun paddle sport.
